Just keep in mind that depression is a disease. Having "respect" should not be in the equation. It's an insidious disease that many addicts suffer from. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain man. I have struggled with it for years. I am 23 years sober and is probably the only reason I am still here. I hate to hear ppl bash ppl for making the only choice they can see at the time. It doesn't mean he was weak... it doesn't make him less than. He was sick.
I don't like what he did to his family, just like what Chris Cornell did to his wife and kids. My friend committed suicide selfishly and his family went into a tailspin. His younger brother ended up committing suicide 10 years later. I don't mean to be insensitive but the facts are the facts.
The facts are he was sick. This wasn't/isn't about his family. This is about someone with a disease. He died from a disease. That is fact. Your opinion that he was "selfish" means nothing and only shows your lack of understanding the disease of addiction and depression.
It's a little weird like all Primus stuff, but cool as well.
