Road Trip is a minimum once a year watch with herbal refreshments. Absolute classic.
As far as current TV goes:
Crashing is a half hour show on HBO that is absolutely hilarious. I might be a bit biased since its based in NYC, but its fucking awesome so far.
Please don't post my old vlogs without my knowledge, thanks
I've been powering through Star Trek: TNG. Nearing the end of S2, I always hear how the first two seasons aren't that good but I've been enjoying them. Hopefully that means the rest will truly enlighten me.
Love when Qualls becomes a man and then pulls out the cheetah patterned tent as proof. That is a stupid hilarious movie, like Old School, Step Brothers, Anchorman, etc.
DJ Qualls plays a very good role in Man in the High Castle.
That entire series beginning to end was absolutely AMAZING. I love the underlying vibe in season 1 of everyone getting used to working with each other. The only thing I am not a fan of in that show is Wesley Crusher. When he left for the Academy and then returns sporadically, he was ok, but as a regular cast member he was painful to watch...
My favorite DJQ performance has to be his small stint in Breaking Bad. Love that scene when he busts Badger.
How embarrassing. I remember how boring Sundays could be while sober, but you didn't see me making fucking videos of it, geez.
This was how I spent my Sunday afternoon as well as my entire 2003. It was pretty accurate and true to form that it almost gave me a case of the daymares. It's no Band of Brothers, but I have to be honest, it was accurate in depicting the Marine Corps and troop life over there. Anyone disagree?
10:35 of the second video is worth the price of admission alone. Same with the scene that follows.
"Belyas that, Devil Dog! You's a squeelin' like a bunch of butt-fucked Vassar bitches! Unfuck yourselves or we gonna suffer the spectacle of a WM with a bunch of Devil Dogs trailin' her stern."
Did you have something planned for your afternoon? Sorry.
Tasteless there chap. Guess I watch me bum fights when I get home?
No bum fights. Just street beef.
Everyone of them has the right to vote.......
Dark Souls on the brain.
This what Blonde refers to as "Top Shelf Mem"? I can dig it.
Geeze did this show start off on the wrong foot for me. It was my "fall asleep" to show. Fell asleep within the first 20 minutes the first half dozen times I clicked on it late at night.
Then one morning I woke up at 3 am to some shit outside and decided to check it again.
Now I'm tracking. Finishing up episode 9/10 and while I can see where it's heading, I'm on board.
Oh and the smoove sheen body suit sex scene within the first 2 minutes was so ri-cock-ulous. Damn SciFy why try? Just to be gratuitous? So dumb.
He will never top this meme.
Today is Rex Manning day
Empire Records released 22 years ago today, Damn
makes me feel old,
my first season playing ice Hockey was in 1995 too.
What I'm NOT watching.
Bill Nye's new Netflix special. Psuedo-intellectual discussions about psuedo science. I couldn't even make it through one episode. It's not enlightening or thought provoking, it's just more social-science for the "feels over reals" crowd.
Not trying to stalk, but um yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaah. I saw just a smidge of the gender Photoshop genes SJW thing and backed right the fuck up and did that Abe Simpson in a bar move. Not that I ever gave two fucks about Nye, but even I know some things are better left right the heck alone. This is one of them. It's gross the ignorance on topics.
I get you can change your mind over the years with empirical evidence and thorough analysis, but to say what he did just because he now affiliates himself with whatever the fuck is going on in this country is pretty gross.
Just came here initially though to post up what I watched over the weekend. This might trigger some of you here, but I REALLY FUCKING ENJOYED this film. I briefly heard grumblings back when folks were watching some award show (they still do that shit?) and were upset this took top honors for whatever category. Well. Fuck them haters, I fucking really dug it, but again, I like a good yarn and thorough character development. OR as much as you can get in an hour and a half. I also REALLY DUG Precious. The emotions conveyed through cinema and how I engage with it still to this day never ceases to amaze. Some things you just can't understand until you see or experience them; even if in a portrayal such as film. Or perhaps in your own life. What's the line about real life being stranger than fiction?
Also, still thinking about "Quarry" and that shit IS STILL STUCK in me and I cannot believe its been a couple months and I occasionally think about that first two episode pilot. I gotta get back to it and fork the $10/mo for Cinemax.
It was that fucking dark and disturbing and all around fantastic. Thanks Mack for that one!
Recently watched Vikings on amazon Prime, waiting for season402 to drop, same with Grimm season 6.
I had to research that blood eagle business, looks like a messy activity to engage in. Wonder if you'd pass out from the pain before it's finished and how long it would take to die from
